Do I need fishing experience?

All experience levels are welcome on the team. Select “Learning the basics” during signup if you’re getting started.

Do I need my own boat or gear?

You don’t need a boat or gear to attend. Extra rods and tackle are available for team outings, and dues-paying members can arrange equipment checkout with the team advisor.

How much are dues?

$40 for the year or $20 for a semester. Sponsored membership is $80 annually and requires selection. See Membership for the full breakdown.

Which email should I use?

Sign up with your UW-Madison @wisc.edu school email. Your email stays private to the officers managing membership.

Does signing up make me an official member?

Signup puts you on the team’s intake roster. Officers will explain dues and any remaining membership steps. Official UW sport-club registration and participation approval are handled separately through DSE.

Where can I see the kickoff slides?

Sign up and verify your email, then open the kickoff recap in the member area. The full 46-slide deck is available there, including while your membership review is pending.
